Coordinate with QA team and Software Developers in conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. Prepare workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language. Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program. Consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer programs. Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems software as a systems programmer. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users. Investigate whether networks, workstations, the central processing unit of the system, or peripheral equipment are responding to a program’s instructions. Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users if needed. Position is based out of employer’s headquarters in Golden Valley, Minnesota, and may be assigned to various unanticipated client locations in the United States due to the industry norm and the nature of employer’s business operations. Current worksite is located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Long-term relocation and/or travel to a new client site may be required upon expiration of current service contract. Position requires a Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely-related field, plus at least 18 months of relevant work experience in performing computer programming, utilizing SAP BI, BOBJ, SAP HANA, SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAP Lumira Designer 2.2, SAP Lumira Discovery 2.2, Analysis for Office, and Web Intelligence.
